Dr. Rudy Kachmann received his M.D. from Indiana University in Indianapolis, Indiana, and completed his residency at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. He served as a neurosurgeon in the Navy. Dr. Kachmann is the founder of the Kachmann Behavioral Foundation and cofounder of the Kachmann Mind Body Institute. Dr. Kachmann also is the author of Twenty Prescriptions for Living the Good Life, Welcome to Your Mind Body, Kid Scripts and The Secret of the Non-Diet for Adults, The Secret of the Non-Diet for Children. Dr. Kachmann is the creator of the Mind Body Index. Dr. Kachmann treats both brain and spine diseases. He specializes in neurosurgery.

Dr. Kachmann enjoys meeting with his patients at NeuroSpine and Pain Center and treating them as a whole person, helping his patients through wellness teaching and surgery if needed. He loves being able to help his patients live a better quality of life.

In his spare time he plays tennis, writes books, lectures, is very involved in the community and loves fishing, kayaking and being with his family.
